Introduction to the Auditing of Quantitative Processes
ABSTRACT
Historically, manufacturing processes have become
more and more quantitative with regards to measurement and improvements.
As industries and customer requirements have grown in complexity auditing
as a discipline evolved in order to maintain consistency and accuracy relative
to regulatory and industry requirements. As
technological improvements have also increased, the measurements of process
success have become more quantitative in nature and as such, methods of analysis
traditional to in-process behaviors can also be applied analytically to the
auditing methodology itself. This
talk will focus on some tools to consider when specifically auditing processes
that generate quantitative data, including:
–
Measurement Systems
–
Records & Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP) Linkage
–
Data Consistency
–
Verification of Process
Qualification
–
Applied Analysis of SPC (aaSPC)
–
Data Verified Certificates of
Acceptance/ Analysis
